Giveaway Winner

Thanks to all who entered my giveaway by suggesting a name for my "new" sewing machine, a Singer 401J. I've decided to go with....

Stella

               suggested by Mimi. The name just seemed to fit! Mimi - if you could kindly e-mail me your mailing address, I'll get a little something in the mail for you. :)

I've recently found out that Stella was made in 1951 or 1952, making her about 60 years old! Most people would have retirement on their minds at that age, but my Stella is still going strong. I hope to get many years of work out of her yet, but be assured that I'll treat her kindly! :)

    I am absolutely honoured that you chose Stella as the name to call your 'new' sewing machine!! Quite honestly, I don't think that I would stop sewing if I were 60+ either!!
